BBC ONE programme Casualty 1907

Doctors, nurses and patients at The Royal London Hospital a century ago were recreated in a drama mini-series called ‘Casualty 1907’ BBC ONE broadcast on BBC ONE 30 March, 6th April and 13th April 2008. The three programmes were made by Stone City Films employed extensive research used case notes, ward reports, autopsy records and diaries from 100 years ago to provide the storylines.

The programmes followed on from al pilot programme, Casualty 1906, screened in 2006, and an edited copy of Casualty 1906 and a display about the making of the programme can be now be viewed at The Royal London Hospital Museum.
