Marylebone Medical Walks

As part of Museums & Galleries Month 2008 join a fascinating historic walking tour of the medical streets in Marylebone led by Blue Badge Guides.

Dates: Friday 9 May, Thursday 15 May, Wednesday 4 June, Tuesday 24 June
Start time: 1.15pm
Duration: 2 ½ hrs
Meeting place: Great Portland Street tube station
Cost: £9 per person to include visits to 3 museums and tea and coffee

After meeting, the walk will start at the Royal College of Physicians with a tour of the historic collections in the College's Grade 1 listed building. Taking in the exclusive streets en route the tour will move to the Anaesthesia Heritage Centre. Finally, stopping at many significant points, the walk will end at the British Dental Association with time to view the exhibits and take refreshments.
