Florence Nightingale Museum

Florence Nightingale has remained a symbol of the nursing profession and humanitarian work. She is commemorated in this award-winning museum for her work in the Crimea and her creation of the first modern nurse training school. Evocative displays include a recreated ward scene and a twenty minute audio-visual presentation.

  • Open Monday-Friday 10.00-17.00 (last admission is one hour before closing)
  • Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 10.00-16.30 (last admission is one hour before closing)
  • Closed Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, 24 December-2 January
  • Admission charge with group discounts available
